In one of the most hilarious Twitter rants of the season, Nicole and her friends are having a laugh at a dinner party when the topic of their buns comes up.
“Is it really worth it to eat one of these?” asks Nicole.
“Well, yeah, I guess,” replies Nicole.
It’s a conversation she shares with friends and family on social media.
“You know, I really don’t like bun,” Nicole says.
“I think they taste like bread.
I think they’re like a sandwich or something.”
In the same day, her friend Nicole Bracken agrees, saying: “I love the taste of bread, I love the crunch of bread.
And I just think that you can make better buns than you think you can.”
A lot of food bloggers are still struggling to figure out what to make with their bun recipe.
Some people like to stick with their favourite buns from home, others go for more conventional bun flavours, while some people go for a more adventurous take.
For Nicole, the only buns she knows of that taste like bun are her home-made bread buns.
“So my mum made these for me and my sisters,” she says.
But it’s not always easy to make a new favourite.
“Sometimes when I’m making a recipe, I’m not sure how to go about making the bun,” she adds.
Here are Nicole’s favourite bread bums: 1. “
